Clinical Psychotherapy and Counselling with Anna
In our sessions together, you’ll be supported to explore the challenges you’re facing in a safe, non-judgemental space. We may work on recognising and understanding your emotions—as well as the emotions of others—so you can feel more connected and in control.
I work with people from all walks of life and welcome you exactly as you are. My experience includes working at Headspace and Sydney Psychology Centre, where I’ve supported clients with a wide range of concerns.
In our work together, you might learn tools to increase self-awareness, emotional regulation, manage anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, PTSD, and improving your self-esteem and social skills. I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), social skills training, and attachment theory.
Above all, I see you as a whole person—not a collection of symptoms.
Neuro-affirming Psychotherapy
I employ a neuro-affirming approach when working with clients. This means I see your diagnosis or brain style as a difference rather than a deficiet. I incorporate positive psychology and evidence-based interventions and tailor them to the individual needs of clients.
I encourage creative expression in sessions to help clients process emotions in a way that feels natural and accessible. I understand that verbal communication isn’t always easy, especially when expressing complex emotions.
My approach is compassionate, client-led and trauma informed.
